Description: The Hot Diggity Weenie Dog Races are back! There are four different events within this competition, a fashion show, a puppy race, an adult race, and a senior dog race. This is for Dachshunds only, or Weenie Dogs if you prefer. All of the dogs must be certified, but don’t have to be registered with the AKC. Race entries will be accepted onsite from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm at the Weenie Dog Registration Tent near the Main Stage. The RGWF is a dog-free event, but the competitors are welcome in the park starting at 1:30 pm and must leave by 8:00 pm. The dogs must remain on leash at all times with the exception of when they are racing. Don’t miss the return of the Hot Dog Weenie Races to Cañon City at the Royal Gorge Whitewater Festival.
