Courses
We're proud to offer courses that accommodate all levels of riders. To see your course, visit our website: https://www.royalgorgewhitewaterfestival.com/land-events.html Note that our 5K running and family mountain bike course has significantly changed from last year, offering a nice, flat, wide ride/ run along the Riverwalk.
T-Shirts
Participants who pre-ordered a t-shirt will also be able to pick that up at packet pickup. Some additional shirts (limited availability, first-come, first-served) will be available for purchase on the day of or at packet pickup for $20.
Packet Pickup
Packet Pickup is on Friday, July 21st from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm at Centennial Park in Cañon City. Festival Front Gate attendants will have your name on a participant list, so you'll be able to get into the festival for free both Friday and Saturday. You may also pick up your packet on Saturday morning starting at 7:00 a.m. at the starting line (north west corner of the park).
Aid Stations
We’ll have 3 aid stations throughout the events that will be accessible for the various routes. Supplies will include basic aid, snacks and water.
Festival Schedule
Hang out after the land events for the awards ceremony and the start of the water events. Live bands will be playing at the festival all day. View event schedule here.
Be Prepared
Here are a few items that would be a good idea to bring: Water, sunscreen, basic tire repair kit (MTB events), helmet (MTB events), gloves (MTB events), Mountain Bike in good working condition, running shoes. We are hoping for a nice 86-degree day, but be sure to STAY HYDRATED before and during the event.
Race Day Schedule
All events start and end at Centennial Park in Cañon City. Parking can be found at Veteran's Park (off Hwy 50) and on the north side of the river. (Take the pedestrian bridge over the river and come find us at the northwest corner of the park near the boat ramp.)
