Location: Cañon City Whitewater Park (Arkansas River by the 4th Street Bridge)
Registration: On-line or at Centennial Park Registration Tent by 4:00 pm Friday
Check-in: At Centennial Park Registration Tent by 4:45 pm
Qualifications: Amateur (Beginner through expert)
Cost: $10 per entry
Description: This is an opportunity to show you know what freestyle is all about. This event allows kayakers, Stand-Up Paddlers, boogie boarders, rafters, and those who like to duckie to all compete in a freestyle competition at the Cañon City Whitewater Park. The winner will be the one simply having the best time in the feature. You could even be in costume. This is more than just throwing tricks in the feature, it is about showing your personality and being a positive force in the Arkansas River. Prizes, possibly cash, will be awarded to the top placers. You may get a complete list of rules online.
