DOWNRIVER Sprint KAYAK RACE

Registration: On-line, at Centennial Park Registration Tent by 1:45 pm
Check-in: At Centennial Park by 1:45 pm
Race Distance: 1.5 Miles
Qualifications: Must have experience in high water boating
Cost: $30
Description: This challenging downriver race will begin at Pink House and run for 1.5 miles. There will be a crowd on hand at the finish line. Prizes, including cash, will be awarded for the top placers and each participant will receive a T-Shirt.
Please be advised that, due to high water conditions, all participants of water events must have whitewater certification.
**Please note that all downriver races will run from Pink House to the Whitewater Kayak and Recreation Park. This stretch of river includes Class II whitewater. Due to the potential for high water levels in 2019, races will NOT travel through the Royal Gorge.
